Funcom is looking for an enthusiastic, talented and versatile Lead Programmer to join its development team in Oslo, working on the title «Conan Exiles» as well as future projects.

Requirements for the position:
  • Ability to lead engineers, providing technical direction, as well as mentoring members of the team.
  • Strong C++ skills, including experience working in multithreaded and memory constrained environments. 
  • Experience working with multiplayer / networked games. 
  • Working knowledge of 3D math / trigonometry. 
  • Strong communication skills • Have worked on one or more titles from beginning to end.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert high level product requirements into technical design and tasks. 

Nice to have:
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience working with consoles, including working on TRC compliance issues.

In September 2017 Funcom will be moving office to a brand new building downtime Oslo. The offices are being structures as mostly team offices to take advantage of the low noice and high efficiency this layout offers.
